Fantastic finish for Cordeiro at RAWF!!!!

It was a fabulous day for Sentinel Hill Farm's Cordeiro and trainer Vivian Millard, with a 3rd place finish in the coveted Lieutenant Governor's Cup (under saddle) class, and an 8th place finish in the Governor General's Cup (in-hand) class.

Congratulations to Vivian Millard of Gimcrack Equestrian Centre for her fine work in preparing Cordeiro for this event, with special thanks to Sophie Balohg-Delisle for her superb handling of Cordeiro in the GG cup and to Tara Bassili for an excellent ride in the LG cup.

About Our Passion

All things begin somewhere, and when it comes to our passion for horses, it really all began with my father. As a child, I remember watching my father galloping across the fields, easy and confident in the saddle. Our old mare, who I could barely poke into a trot when I was riding her, would come alive under my father's touch.

Although my love for horses started at an early age, I was always a timid rider. I preferred to interact with them on the ground, and this has developed in my current life to a love for breeding and working with broodmares and foals.

My father's skill and confidence as a rider may have skipped a generation with me, but it landed solidly upon my daughter. She is the rider of the family, and her special skill has always been the ability to read a horse, whether from the ground or in the saddle.

My dear husband came into this horse business through default, but has since developed his own passion for bringing Canadian-bred warmbloods to the forefront in our sport. I invite you to share in our lives with horses through this blog!
